It comprises two sets: a core data list of key ESG indicators for assessing performance, and a future potential list of emerging ESG requirements. The core list is designed to help valuers engage financial clients and incorporate ESG metrics into valuation reports and market value assessments. It emphasizes flexibility, acknowledging that data availability varies by project and jurisdiction. Where data is missing or irrelevant, valuers may apply a “comply or explain” approach. The indicators are intended to complement existing valuation practices without altering liability principles or assumptions.
