Michael currently serves as the Interim Market Director for the Americas at RICS. In this role, he oversees strategic operations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, driving policy engagement and promoting best practices within the built environment sector. With more than 20 years of experience in management and compliance, Michael has been with RICS since 2012, guiding the organization’s efforts to uphold professional standards and support responsible practice.
During his tenure with RICS, and indeed throughout his career, Michael has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing thought leadership in public policy, regulatory frameworks, and professional standards, with a growing focus on sustainability in recent years.
Prior to joining RICS, Michael served as Director of Compliance at a major non-profit housing provider in New York City.
Michael’s commitment to advancing standards and advocacy is reflected in his service on numerous boards and his consulting work with community-based organizations in both New York City and Washington, D.C.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
