William (Bill) is an accomplished real estate investment executive and advisor with two decades of experience operating at the convergence of institutional real estate investment, operating platforms, and technology-led innovation. His career spans roles across the Americas, Europe, and the UK, where he has built, scaled, and advised global investment managers, regional developers & operators and early-stage ventures.
Bill co-founded Anabeya in July 2023 and formally launched in October 2023. Prior to that, he served as Head of UK & European Housing at Nuveen, where he led housing strategies across multiple asset classes including build-to-rent, student accommodation, senior affordable housing, and single-family rental. He oversaw landmark joint ventures such as Stay (with Kronos) in Spain, a pan-European PBSA platform (with Value One & Milestone), and a sustainability-led SFR initiative (with Apache) in Cambridge. He also led the Castleforbes BtR project in Dublin with Eagle Street and HESTA, and supported TIAA’s investment into Concrete Ventures, Nuveen’s European PropTech initiative.
Previously at Round Hill Capital, Bill led the Alternatives & Ventures division, driving innovation across serviced apartments, co-living, co-working, and affordable housing. He co-founded Round Hill Ventures, backing 18 PropTech startups and securing strategic investment from Ivanhoé Cambridge. He also launched Modomo (now Reboxd), a modular housing venture, and helped spin out a multi-segment living operator built around Nido, later acquired by CPPIB.
Bill began his career in Latin America as Managing Director at Swiss Finance & Property, establishing a regional platform across six countries. He also co-founded Oasis Collections, a hybrid hospitality platform backed by Hyatt, and held early roles at Moore Capital and Triangle Capital.
In addition to his executive roles, Bill advises technology-led businesses such as Casafari, Airlite, and REalyse, and serves as a Venture Partner at Concrete Ventures.
He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and brings a forward-thinking approach to the built environment, with a strategic emphasis on sustainability, emerging technologies, and the evolving dynamics of modern living. Outside of work, he prioritizes family time and maintains a strong commitment to health and wellness through diverse personal pursuits.
